Growing up in Georgia I was surrounded by healers & Ministers. My Grandmother Zula was a top-selling Avon lady and healer, we went door to door dropping off creams and make-up then she would lay hands on her clients and they seemed to feel so much better after she spent time with them. I learned in those moments that Spirit and beauty are connected. So at 14, I dreamed of heading to NYC to pursue a Career as a Fashion and Beauty Make-up Artist, so at 23, I headed to the big apple. I pounded the pavement in an age before social media and started shooting with Vogue, Rolling Stone, Town and Country, and more. Painting the faces of many movie stars and musicians. All the while studying spirituality with amazing teachers like Darma Mittra, August Gold & Caroline Myss. Beyond blessed I was able to study and be in ceremonies with Native American Elders and Teachers. My path grew deep as I had so much to heal from a childhood full of Trauma including Physical and Sexual abuse. This mixed with having a mom with serve depression and mental illness. I'm sure this was all inspiration to find light and heal. To cope I turned to sex, drugs, and rock & roll in my teen years and into my late 20s in NYC. I checked out a lot to cover up the wounds, leaving me empty. It was from the emptiness I stepped onto my path to help fill up my soul and tend to my spirit. My healing path saved my life and I know how it can save others. Finding a higher power that can lead our lives to higher ground is truly a life-changing gift.

While in the midst of my career, I was experiencing unexplained chronic illness which Doctors and people around me wrote off as "just in my head". After being misdiagnosed for over 15 years I would found out I had Chronic Lyme Disease which took a toll on my physical body and mental health. I almost lost my life to Lyme and had to step away from my jet-set life to focus on healing and raising my young daughter. I was one of the lucky ones as I had support in getting medical care and now have recovered and living Lyme Free. I know what it feels like to lose all hope and not have the strength to go on and I also know the power of a miracle and what digging deeper into the voice of the illness can do.

No matter what you have gone through or endured I truly believe there is a light within us all that can be lifted up and healed. The power of the human spirit to connect and find its source inspires me and my healing work. It would be an honor to be your guide, mentor, and healer on your sacred healing journey. I live in The Hudson Valley upstate New York with my Balinese Cat named Miso and have an amazing daughter named Phoenix who is in her first year of college at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
